Neste artigo, vamos utilizar o OCI Console (com o recurso autobackup) para realizar o backup de nosso DB System.
Acessando a página do nosso database pelo Menu Principal -> Oracle Database -> Bare Metal, VM, and Exadata:

Na tela principal do nosso Database, clicamos em “Configure Automatic Backups”:

Podemos selecionar a opção “Enable automatic backup” e escolher a opção de backup retention:

Diferente do DBCLI ou RMAN, onde conseguimos definir precisamente em qual horário podemos rodar nosso backup, no OCI Console temos uma faixa que escolhemos para que o backup seja realizado:

Após salvar a configuração, vemos que a página do database já reflete o que foi feito:

Pouco tempo depois que defini a janela de backup, meu banco de dados já começou a ser “backupeado”, exibindo o seguinte status na Console:

Após bons minutos, o backup (level 0) é concluído:

O interessante para observarmos é que nossa configuração via Console modificou o parâmetro persistente no RMAN, conforme abaixo:

RMAN configuration parameters for database with db_unique_name CORTEX_PHX1HB are:
CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO RECOVERY WINDOW OF 7 DAYS;
Através do OCI Console, conseguimos agendar os backups, mas também conseguimos fazer o disparo manualmente. Clicando no banco Create Backup:
